Fullbay Cares: Charities We Supported In 2020

Fullbay Cares: Charities We Supported In 2020

Let’s not mince words: 2020 was rough for a lot of us.

A lot went down. “Unprecedented” became a fixture in our vocabularies. Everyone struggled at some point.

It wasn’t all bad, though. We’d known for a while that we wanted to give back to the heavy-duty industry and the people who keep it running, and we launched Fullbay Cares midway through the year in an effort to do just that.

Together with our partners, we contributed to several worthy causes throughout the year:

1. Freedom Road: How Truckers Can Save Lives
Truckers are in a unique position to spot – and help stop – potential human trafficking. We put the spotlight on Truckers Against Trafficking to show us how.

2. The Final Mile: How One Charity Is Helping Truck Drivers Get Home
Truckers take care of all of us, delivering food, clothes, and medical supplies all over the country. But who takes care of them when something goes wrong on the road?

3. What a Relief: St. Christopher Truckers Fund Helps Drivers In Need
Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes. St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, named for the patron saint of travel, is there to help truck drivers out.

4. Happy Thanksgiving, Veterans! How One Charity Is Giving Back
One in 10 truck drivers is a veteran – and all too many veterans face difficulties in putting food on the table, especially during the holidays. Veterans Inc. runs a number of services for veterans and their families, but their Holiday Harvest struck a special chord with us.

We’re thrilled that we were able to help these charities over the course of 2020 – and we’re just getting started. Stick around to see what wonderful charities we’ll be supporting in 2021!
