Fullbay Announces Trent Broberg as New CEO
Hello, Fullbay friends and family. I’m Trent Broberg, and I’m excited to announce that I am stepping into the role of CEO at Fullbay.
I’ve admired Fullbay’s mission for several years. How could I not? The company’s dedication to elevating the heavy-duty industry and making the roads safer for everyone should resonate with anyone who’s ever had to share the road with a big rig — and that’s pretty much all of us.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to step in and help guide the next stage of Fullbay’s growth, but let’s give credit where it’s due: Patrick McKittrick has done a tremendous job steering the ship over the last four years. His hard work made the business stronger and propelled the industry forward.
I live in Phoenix, so Fullbay is practically a neighbor; I blinked twice and suddenly this little repair shop software company was hosting conferences and releasing cutting-edge AI features.
In a way, joining Fullbay feels like coming home. My prior role was CEO at ACERTUS, an automotive logistics company, but before that I was COO at Truckstop.com, a load board and freight-matching platform connecting shippers, brokers, and carriers. I also spent almost a decade at Swift Transportation — they probably don’t need an introduction — and I’m on the board of Wabash, one of the leading trailer manufacturers in North America.
In other words, I really, really like heavy-duty and supporting those that support heavy duty!
I’m particularly enthusiastic about how AI, technology and heavy-duty come together, and how Fullbay’s innovations can create a better workplace and life for commercial diesel professionals.
I’m looking forward to getting to know the talented and hard-working people in the shops that keep our economy moving. We’re going to do great things together.
