Five Reasons To Join Us in Phoenix for Diesel Connect

Five Reasons To Join Us in Phoenix for Diesel Connect

Hey, you. Yeah, you! Have you picked up your Diesel Connect tickets yet? For it is nigh.

It’s true. We’re just over a month away from the heavy-duty event of the century

(Editor’s Note: Come on, Suz.)

—fine, the heavy-duty event of the year, and we want to see you there!

I dunno, Fullbay, you might be saying, that’s quite a trip, and things are…well…

Busy? Crazy? Tense?

Believe us, we get it. And hey, if you can’t swing it this year for whatever reason, no worries! But we’ve got a good track record of producing an event that is both informative and fun, so more bang for your buck. Or is that double the trouble?

Anyway, here’s five reasons why this is gonna be the best DC ever (and why you should definitely attend):

1. SEE HOW EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING

There’s a lot of uncertainty floating around today. We hear it from our customers and contacts all over the industry — will we be able to get the parts we need? Can we afford those parts? Can our customers afford them? Oh man, how are we supposed to hire people in all this?

Shop owners and managers have plenty to worry about and often very few people to vent to. Diesel Connect is a gathering of peers, and shops across the country are in the same boat. Sometimes realizing that you’re not floating alone in your concerns can go a long way in easing those concerns.

2. BECOME LEARNED IN THE WAYS OF THE DIESEL

We’ve lined up some pretty exciting speakers for this edition of Diesel Connect, each of them focusing on some aspect of running a successful diesel repair shop. We’re looking forward to discussions about leadership, growing and scaling your business, making your money go further, and fraud prevention, just to start.

Speakers like Keni Thomas, Peter Cooper, and Paul Moszak of MOTOR are going to inspire and educate. We’ll also hear from Bob Costello of the American Trucking Associations; he’ll give us an economic update and discuss the state of the freight industry, and what that means for repair shops everywhere.

3. MORE FULLBAY FOR YOU

It wouldn’t be a Diesel Connect conference without some great classes and workshops based around Fullbay, right? Every session is geared toward helping you make the most out of the platform:

  • Maximize Shop Workflow and Potential: In other words, put Fullbay to work for you — streamlining your shop’s processes to get more done in less time.
  • How to Manage Shop Supplies: Ah, shop supplies — the unsung hero of all repair places. Where would we be without the towels, the cleaners, the other stuff that keeps your operation shipshape? Yes, Fullbay can help you manage those — and make sure you’re recouping what you spend on them.
  • How to Clean Up Your Fullbay Account: You update your Fullbay account when you make changes to vendor, staffing, and so on, right? Right? Keeping your account up to date means less time spent scrolling through stuff and more time spent on, y’know, the actual work.
  • When & How to Use Fullbay Reports: Fullbay has a lot of reports. Like, a lot. Using them correctly can tell you a lot about your operation — who’s efficient and who needs some help, which parts are moving and which aren’t, who has paid up and who hasn’t…the list goes on. This session is all about putting our reports to work for your operation.

We’ve got several other Fullbay-centric sessions scheduled, too — and this is your chance to hear about upcoming product releases before anyone else. Fullbay staff will be milling around the event, so if you’ve got a craving to ask questions of them in person…this is your moment.

You’ll also be able to meet some of our vendors! We’ve got reps from Whip Around, IBS, MOTOR, Dieselmatic, and TMC joining us. Seriously, stop by their booths and say hello!

4. BECOME THE RULER OF THE GO-KART EMPIRE

Oh, sure, it’s all fun and games until someone gets run over with a go-kart. For real, though, our Day 2 evening activity is go-karting. Dominate your peers! Claim your championship!

(Editor’s Note: I don’t think it’s going to be that vicious…)

YOU DO NOT KNOW THE POWER OF THE RACETRACK, AARON. BEGUN, THE GO-KART WARS HAVE.

Cut loose! Run wild! CLAIM YOUR VICTORY!

(Editor’s Note: I don’t know where this is coming from. Suz doesn’t even like go-karts.)

5. FREE FOOD & GOOD FUN

Yes, we’re playing the food card. The food is gonna be awesome, and there will be plenty of it. Breakfast, lunch, and plenty of coffee will be available at scheduled times right in the conference area. Dinner will be available at the activity venue on the 21st. And of course, you’re welcome to venture off to find more grub whenever you like.

But we also want to emphasize the fun of this conference. Yes, you’re meeting with your peers and learning how to run a better, more profitable repair shop. But you’re also cutting loose a bit. Hey, we know what life is like at a repair shop. You barely get home in time for dinner (if you make it for dinner at all) and the word “vacation” probably makes your eye twitch. So think of this as a working vacation. You can lay out by the pool and relax and have a pina colada and learn about Fullbay’s cybersecurity options and make a financial plan and become a better leader and show off those leadership skills by demolishing everyone else at go-karts.

And hey, coffee.

Tickets are still available, so book now. Tell ’em the marketing team sent you.

(Editor’s Note: Suz, there’s nowhere for them to put that.)

Ah…okay. Book now. We’ll see you in the desert.
